Inspired by Fink’s “I Buried All the Answers,” this triptych holds the opposing truths of memory: sweetness and sorrow, affection and hurt. Turquoise circles and fragments of language emerge through pale, weathered layers, allowing earlier marks to remain. Painting is my way of letting these experiences pass through me, leaving their traces while making room for what comes next.
